Alynna

Alynna is a fairy fox who used to live with her sister Murrimi in the fairy forest, with many other wonderous creatures. But one day when they were experimenting with mooshroom spores she got way too much of a dose of them and got stuck with a cow for a butt. Now she has mooved on to the moo farm, where she has come to either find a cure for it or settle in on a new life as a cowtaur.

She may also have a few hearts over her head over Ristin, so that is nice too…

Ristin

Ristin Cowtaur helped Cassie to set up Cassie’s Farm, which doubles as a rehabilitation and treatment facility for people suffering from unexpected or uncontrolled transformations. Many assume his interest in a transformation rehabilitation resort is because the raccoon guy was unexpectedly transformed into a cowtaur, but no, he says he was created that way during his deliberately mysterious past that he doesn’t like to talk about for some unknown reason.

Before coming to the farm, Ristin Cowtaur was a long-time friend and travelling companion of Cassie, but is glad to have finally settled down somewhere. He is also long-time friends with Alynna and Samara, enjoying it whenever their paths crossed during the travels, or when they visited the farm.

Cassie

Cassie the Witch is a fox, for the most part, and a lot of the time. She specializes in potions and especially likes transformation potions. Until recently Cassie was travelling with Ristin Cowtaur, visiting new communities and selling her potions at town markets. Sometimes it was sudden and fast travel away from a community where Cassie’s potions had unexpected results…but in Cassie’s defense that didn’t happen every single time.

For no apparent reason Cassie set up a farm, which doubled as a sort of resort where people who had suffered unexpected or uncontrolled transformations could come and maybe get treated and recover. Or failing that, at least have the room to live comfortably among friendly people and pleasant scenery. Plenty of space in-case of another outbreak of brontosaurustaur transformations.

Groo

Before coming to the farm, Groo had been voluntarily allowing experimentation on his body which would introduce addition animal DNA. The experiments would observe how the body might react as the body hybridized to numerous hybridisation.

Each experiment would revert him back to a normal kangaroo before introduction of a different DNA. Over time the experimentation would result in Groo having the ability to introduce DNA to his system with it automatically reverting back over time.

This would also result in his body easily accepting new features temporarily simply being near a magical source with transformative side effects.

Samara

Queen Samara is a queen of the demons, though her mortal friends aren’t sure how many demons agree with her about that. She has a sharp tongue and a quick wit, and is crafty when striking deals with the mortals who summon her for her magical boons and daemonic pacts. Caution is advised when making a deal with this wily demon queen…though it’s not advised often by her trusting friends Cassie and Ristin, who summon her often and view her as a friend.

Murrimi

Murrimi is Alynna’s sister, and the goddess of Order, fungus and mushrooms, as well as the queen of the Fairy Forest. One day when she and Alynna were experimenting with her own mooshroom spores to help the cows at the Moo Farm produce more milk, Alynna got the whole bottle of the potion all over her, resulting in the predicament that she is in today.
Murrimi herself could not find a way to revert the effects of her own potion, and sent her over to Cassie and the Moo Farm to see if they could help.

Brianna

Brianna is a corn mouse who you may or may not have seen. More about her … later …
