Hi, this is Alynna, the “project manager” for Addictive Magic, a comic about magic, transformations, and farm life. As you might have already seen. But in truth, its about much more. We have been long time fans of Cervelet’s art and comics, and we started to think about our own stories in the setting. But as I saw as I read, the world was split into a magic side and a science side, and of course the focus is on the science side for Addictive Science.

I thought a lot about the magic side of the world, and the interactions that they have had in Cervelet’s comic and started to write a bit about it, and that evolved into a comic that we originally called “Udder Chaos”, and the first pages we have here are about that particular story line. However our story and the setting evolved to the point where we decided that there would be more than the Udder Chaos one and this would only be a chapter in an ongoing story that currently has no end in sight.

Thus we asked to write in the “Magic” side in the Addictive Science universe, and we decided to call it “Addictive Magic”. They are both two sides of the same setting, and you can come expecting crossovers.

The people who contribute ideas to these storylines are also characters in the story, namely me (Alynna), Ristin and Cassie. Cervelet also contributes greatly to this comic (storywise, but especially in drawing it!) and wouldn’t be possible without him because I sure can’t draw to save my soul.

We try to get another page out every 2 weeks on average, but it can be longer and shorter (Cervelet is a very busy artist, after all. 🦊)

Now what I have planned for the future of this comic, goes like this.

• Next on my agenda is a Patreon (or perhaps we’ll use another platform, its in discussion.) The purpose of this is primarily to speed up the production of the comic (Ristin and I finance it to the point that we can definitely get out at least 2 a month, but we want to go faster, there is so much story to tell we could run for years 🦊)
• We want to have cameos, minor characters, and story submissions from the readers! We want other contributions as long as they fit within the story. The Patreon is intended to be a path to this, as supporters will be able to get cameos and contribute ideas to be considered to the story, and that will be able to get more and more of the story out.
